Beaminster War Memorial has now been added to the site.
This has been a slightly different war memorial, due to the fact it lists all those from Beaminster who served, not just the casualties. As usual, I have added only basic biographical details to start with for all the casualties, as I have always believed it’s better to have a little on everyone, rather than a large amount on only a few. I have also begun to fill in the details for those who served and survived. This however is a little more difficult, and very time consuming due to the sheer number listed on the memorial. I will of course update and add further details in time.
Beaminster also has a War Memorial in the church which commemorates the casualties. All of these names are also covered on the memorial wall.
